So apparently it's not (just) racism that swings Asians more toward Clinton than Obama; it's the fact that a few of our brethren bought their way into cushy appointments with dirty money when Bill Clinton was in office.
From the New Republic in an article entitled "Asian Alienation":
"...the Clinton administration made numerous prominent Asian American appointments, and received significant support during Bill Clinton's 1996 re-election campaign (this fact is usually remembered because of the fundraising scandals involving Asian donors in that year)."
100 Bonus points for those who can name the "numerous" appointments! (Thanks, silverarrow, for bringing this article to my attention!)
